I don't care where the hell you picked to hole your asses up, but if you're gonna talk to me and everyone else about how we should kum-by-fucking-ya, then you best be offering up your skills so we can take full advantage of them.

And don't make runs outside the walls alone no more without telling someone where the hell you're gonna be so we know to keep an eye on you! Hell, I don't even go hunting without telling Glenn I'll be out! You got people to rely on so rely on them!

What tipped you off, Jimmy John?

[ Newt had been lingering by Daryl and Tommy on and off since he got back, ankle wrapped with torn cloth of some sort to put pressure on it. Hopping out of a tree on it and then running did him no favours.

The rant is about him and he is well aware, so once he's done with it, Newt steps forward to talk to him. ]

That was a shucky idea, savin' me. [ But his expression softens. ] Thank you.

[ But that's not why he's speaking up. ]

Tommy used to be a Runner, you could train him how to hunt. Jimmy seems like he'd be good for helpin' with farming or the injured - he's got the right personality for either. [ So, these were observations on what Newt had seen from people. ] we got builders too Han and the weird guy that hangs around Gamora. Ultimately it's up to everyone what they want to do, probably but offerin' ideas to them couldn't hurt.

I could do some farming if I could get my hands on some plants. [ Which is what he'd been trying to do when he was attacked. ]

[He huffed in some air, still breathing heavy and heart racing over that shit. But he took another breath to try and calm himself before lowering his voice and nodding at Newt's leg.]

[The rest of all that shit he'd address after Newt had parked his butt.]

[ That is a lot of confusing, sudden aggression out of nowhere. ]

I'm sure your weapons are precisely where you left them. [ Stating the obvious is a power, okay. ] And as I told you before, I mean Athena no harm. I don't mean harm to any of you.

[ That's probably not the best thing to say, either, going around implying that he's not with everyone else. ]

My weapons are not where I left them! You and your fucking friends took them from me, from all of us, when you put on on that fucking ship and dropped us here! You think no one would figure it out? Well you screwed up, Sunshine. You and that little sword o'yours. You're the only one who got to keep their own. You already done enough harm just being an accessory to all that shit.

[If Daryl knew where he was, he would go and punch Jimmy in his lying mouth.]

[ Ah, but to do that he'd have to walk away from Newt, and kid just can't keep out of trouble if you let him alone.

Castiel is rightfully baffled, though, by all of that. It probably doesn't help that he's never seen James Bond, or Die Hard, or Mission Impossible, so instead of having the slightest idea what he's talking about... ]

[ It's more said under his breath than anything else. Humans are weird. But he's not going to press too hard on the name because Daryl doesn't seem to like it. ]

[ The threat would mean more if a beating actually scared him... ]

[He actually kind of thought Dean was decent from their brief interaction.]

He was the one giving Athena the looks!

[Daryl snarled right back, voice cutting off as he choked on his own fury and feelings of betrayal.]

[ Buddy no. ]

Believe me, he's not giving anyone the kinda looks you're thinking about.

I saw what I saw! He was looking at her wrong! Everything about that man is wrong! He pulls a fucking sword out of his fucking sleeve after just cause I wouldn't hand him a fucking crate to stand on! He don't act right!

I used my blade to cut through the wires. Had I intended to threaten you, I wouldn't have needed it.

[ This is why he doesn't mount his own defense. ]

[The sincerity in his tone wasn't feigned or sarcastic. He knew Daryl was probably talking, at least partly, about the kid, Newt, but he was also in hot water and guilty of something in Daryl's rant.]

You weren't awake and I needed to clear my head. I slipped up. Next time, I'll let you know.

[Why yes, that is shame in his voice. Whether Daryl even knows what Bucky's talking about, however, is uncertain as of yet. It did only happen this morning, after all, and Steve has kept him under close supervision.]

[ GDI are you serious. Cas, you are the biggest fucking problem. ]

Oh yeah, I know he's a little off his rocker. Not the best at making friends. But if he was trying to be a dick, you'd know it.

[Athena's never seen anyone angry like this before. Needless to say, she's a little freaked out by it. She keeps calm though and just stares over at Daryl from a good distance.]

You don't have to work with everyone if it's going to make you angry.

[She prefers it when he isn't.]

I told you, I've moved past that. I'm not insane--not any more.
