All ya'll talking shit about how we all gotta work together 'cause we're stuck here together best listen the hell up. You want to work together? FINE. First you gotta to is tell the rest of us what hell you can do. No more fucking surprises like some seven foot leopard man!

The only way to pool our goddamn resources are if we know what the fuck they are! And if you can do shit like that, then it's a goddamn resource!

I don't care where the hell you picked to hole your asses up, but if you're gonna talk to me and everyone else about how we should kum-by-fucking-ya, then you best be offering up your skills so we can take full advantage of them.

And don't make runs outside the walls alone no more without telling someone where the hell you're gonna be so we know to keep an eye on you! Hell, I don't even go hunting without telling Glenn I'll be out! You got people to rely on so rely on them!

You seem angry.

[ Newt had been lingering by Daryl and Tommy on and off since he got back, ankle wrapped with torn cloth of some sort to put pressure on it. Hopping out of a tree on it and then running did him no favours.

The rant is about him and he is well aware, so once he's done with it, Newt steps forward to talk to him. ]

That was a shucky idea, savin' me. [ But his expression softens. ] Thank you.

[ But that's not why he's speaking up. ]

Tommy used to be a Runner, you could train him how to hunt. Jimmy seems like he'd be good for helpin' with farming or the injured - he's got the right personality for either. [ So, these were observations on what Newt had seen from people. ] we got builders too Han and the weird guy that hangs around Gamora. Ultimately it's up to everyone what they want to do, probably but offerin' ideas to them couldn't hurt.

I could do some farming if I could get my hands on some plants. [ Which is what he'd been trying to do when he was attacked. ]

[The sincerity in his tone wasn't feigned or sarcastic. He knew Daryl was probably talking, at least partly, about the kid, Newt, but he was also in hot water and guilty of something in Daryl's rant.]

You weren't awake and I needed to clear my head. I slipped up. Next time, I'll let you know.

[Why yes, that is shame in his voice. Whether Daryl even knows what Bucky's talking about, however, is uncertain as of yet. It did only happen this morning, after all, and Steve has kept him under close supervision.]

[Athena's never seen anyone angry like this before. Needless to say, she's a little freaked out by it. She keeps calm though and just stares over at Daryl from a good distance.]

You don't have to work with everyone if it's going to make you angry.

[ Alex had shifted back to his human form, grimacing in response and feeling like a complete ass as Daryl yelled over the ear pieces. He flinches at the direct comment about himself, having nobody to blame but his own decision to not bring it up sooner. ]

You're right and I'm sorry... I wasn't trying to keep it from everybody and people that I helped back at the crash site knew... but you're right. I fucked up and should have brought it all up sooner. [ He exhaled, pushing his hair back from his face and chafed his hands over his arms. He was in now, so he was going in whole hog. ]

I've got the form you saw, this one, and a wholly feline leopard... a whole lot bigger, though. I heal fast... way faster than any human. I can change at any time.

[ He looks at Daryl, because if he was going to own this fuckup he was going to do it all the way. ]

...but I have to secure myself on the full moon because I can't control shifting then and am not safe... I lock myself up so I can't hurt anyone. This place has an old bank, and the vault door isn't electric, so I figured that's as safe an option as we have.

[ At it will be a dead deer, homemade arrow sticking out of the side of its neck. There are no signs she was ever even there aside from the offer. She's never met this group of people, and whilst normally her feelings would be to wipe them out, they may be valuable allies down the road. ]

Reward your people instead of yell at them, they will not follow a leader they sense weakness from.

Well, I. I was never inside the walls. Does that mean I have to keep reporting in? Because I really doubt you wanna have to talk to me non-stop.

If the Walkers actually only walked, Newt would've been fine. Don't yell at him for what's not his fault.

I can run pretty fast for a long time, I can map, and I probably do engineering and tech, but I'm gonna need to practice on stuff first. I can climb and hide pretty well, and fight with a knife, machete or a spear. Good at puzzles and solving problems too.

[ a pause, and thomas exhales slowly, before adding on - ]

If we're putting everything forward, you oughta know - Newt and I only remember about three months of our lives. We might be good at more, but we don't remember it.

Calm down or I'll come over there and make you calm down.

[ And she doesn't mean that in a nice way.

Gamora isn't particularly pleased with shouting in her ear(piece), okay? ]

Nothing is going to get solved by yelling at one another.

Whatever happened to prompt this, I have healing abilities if someone needs them.
