✧Communications #001✧
[After some extremely uncomfortable fighting with both her now shredded wedding gown and with the earbud for what she could only assume was a communicator, Leia's patience for all things regarding this day is shot. Very little about this situation makes her happy and when she speaks, it shows in her voice.]
Han? Luke? Threepio? Lando? Where are you? If this is some sort of sick joke of a honeymoon, I'm not laughing.
[After everything, today was supposed to be the happiest day of her life, and it had been until she'd woken up somehow in that pod. In the middle of a desert.]
I thought we'd agreed that we'd never return to Tatooine, even if it was the last planet in the galaxy? And what the kriff happened to my dress?

We got a Han here. Don't know if he's yours. But if you came down that close to the sand you got quite a hike ahead of you.
[And with the constant rain coming down, it wasn't going to be a pleasant one.]
Head toward the woods. We'll try to meet you at the edge.
no subject
All I can see is sand outside of this pod. And a sky that looks like it will kill anyone who sets outdoors.
[And she's still in an all-white dress, shredded and scorched or not.]
There is a forest? How far away is it?
no subject
[So far most people had figured out the earpieces quick enough so he'd been expecting a call. He hadn't expected her to announce she landed in the sand. The ships prior to hers had all landed inside the bounds of the forest. Their aim that good, as least, even if every one of them seemed to come down wrecked.]
Check under your seat. Should be a backpack with some supplies. See if it has a knife or a hammer in it.
no subject
After some shuffling around, she does find a pack. She pulls it out and carefully rifles through it.]
There's a knife and some water and I believe food. [Force, though, she wants a blaster though. Or an Ewok. Yeah, an Ewok would be nice.]

Han. Where are you?
no subject
You got Chewie with you?
no subject
[She looks around and lets out a small, disgruntled sigh.]
No, I don't know where Chewbacca is. Or Luke. Or where I am, for that matter.

There's the ruins of one, [ he corrects with a trace of his familiar drawl. ] Don't get your hopes up.
Just — stay put. Don't make too much noise. I'll explain everything, [ he adds placatingly since he can already predict the answer he'll get to "stay quiet," ] when I find you.
[ HE IS ON HIS WAY RIGHT NOW. ]

What happened to your dress?
no subject
There are rips and scorches in it.

[ He's so understanding. ]
no subject
[Especially since it's her wedding dress. But, she's made do with worse.]
Thank you for your concern.

... she tries not to place too much hope on the one name she asks for. Luke. Finn had told her... but no, Finn had never mentioned about knowing Han, or anything about any other woman than Rey. And unless this one is her, then her hope is most likely misplaced. ]
I must admit I would prefer to be on Tatooine than here... the sand never seemed that bad to me. [ But maybe her memory doesn't serve her right from her time spent there -- neither of the occasions were particularly cheerful, and yet she would still rather be back there than here, hunted by the undead. ]
You must have spoken to Han by now... the rest you were asking for, I don't think any with those names are here.
no subject
I used to not hate sand. [But after getting it in some very uncomfortable places, she never wants to see Tatooine ever again.]
And, yes, I've spoken to Han. Do you know him?
[And why isn't she surprised? The other woman is probably very beautiful too.]
no subject
We were on the same ship that landed here. The first one. We're one of the few who seem to remember the same planets and places... us and one other. And now you.
[ So of course she would have talked to him... when he was on the run from the Empire, too. ] He spoke of a "princess". Would that happen to be you?
no subject
Well, his luck is particularly strong, so I'm glad to know that you found someone half-way reliable.
[She's a little taken aback that he'd mention her to a stranger. He's not that sloppy.]
It depends on who's asking. Although, I'm not sure there are many other princesses of his acquaintance. Unless he knew them before we met.
no subject
She puts away the thought when responding to the next, wry comment, her own tone matching that. ]
Somehow, that wouldn't surprise me.
[ Han does give that kind of vibe, doesn't he... ] My name is Padmé. [ Better to introduce herself first, before asking a stranger to give their name. She'd done it here before, and it had worked just fine. ] Padmé Amidala. I used to be a senator in the Galactic Senate.

General! [What a relief.] Where are you?
no subject
General? I must admit that's the first time anyone's called me that.
no subject
Okay. [He can work with this.] I know you later on. When you are a general. Is someone coming?
no subject
You seem rather sure about that, so I'll have to believe you for the moment. And, yes, I think Han and... Daryl are coming.
Tell me, if you're so acquainted with me, what is your name?
no subject
Finn. [There's a hint of pride in his voice. It's good to have a name.]
